Same Sex San Francisco City Hall Wedding
Aubry and Christopher traveled all the way from Louisiana for their same sex San Francisco City Hall wedding. They chose to have a San Francisco City Hall 4th Floor wedding. Moreover, a gay wedding San Francisco City Hall was important to them, because they had great admiration for San Francisco’s history and the city’s effort to make same sex marriage legal. Aubry and Christopher began planning their same sex San Francisco City Hall wedding several months in advance. They reserved the 4th Floor North Gallery. Hired a harpist. Invited Nilou to preside over their ceremony. (By the way, Nilou dressed very stylishly for the occasion. She mentioned to me that the grooms hired her because they admired her flawless sense of style.) I highly recommend booking a private wedding officiant for your ceremony.
The two grooms tapped a trolley to take their guests around town, and reserved Harris’ Steakhouse to host their elegant wedding reception. They even got tuxedoes tailored for the day. The day turned out beautifully as a result of all their efforts and planning, They truly did not overlook a single detail!
Same Sex San Francisco City Hall Wedding
The grooms wore elegant tuxedo jackets, but they also wore their hearts on their sleeves. This same sex San Francisco City Hall wedding had quite an emotional ceremony. They each took turns reading vows to the other, as the rings were “warmed” by the guests. The wedding bands traveled from hand to hand until they found their way back to the grooms. It was an important gesture, and it was perfectly symbolic of the intimate, warm community of family and friends that surrounded Aubry and Christopher.
We spent a good deal of time before and after the ceremony taking creative photographs around San Francisco City Hall. Then we departed on the trolley. Driving through Pacific Heights, we stopped at the Lyon Street Steps. We ventured into the Presidio, capturing photographs while beautiful sunlight filtered through the trees. After the creative shots were finished, we boarded the trolley and headed over to Harris’ Steakhouse for the reception. There were speeches, cake-cutting, and lots of delicious food. There were also some classy cocktails, which inspired me to set up a fun “photobooth” stye shoot with each guest and a cocktail in hand. Super fun, elegant and creative same sex San Francisco City Hall wedding. Congrats Aubry and Christopher!
