Flood Mansion Wedding
The Flood Mansion wedding should be an epic affair. The mansion sits atop Pacific Heights, providing an incredible view of the Bay. It also provides feelings of elegance and triumph when you walk through its doors. The masonry, polished floors, tall ceilings and giant windows remind you that it’s a place from another era. There’s no question that Tami and Alvin shared this grand vision for their Flood Mansion wedding, and they executed it to perfection.
Flood Mansion Wedding
Tami and Alvin’s Flood Mansion wedding was a day of indelible moments. Some were silly, some were full of emotion. All were unforgettable. The first look in Tami’s hotel room. The moment when Tami literally stopped traffic as she exited the limo, with her long legs, couture dress and tall heels. There was the spontaneous moment right before the first kiss. Alvin coolly reached for chapstick, and then a breath mint. Some beautiful, quiet moments happened between Tami and her mom. During the tea ceremony both became very emotional as Mom adorned Tami with gold jewelry. Then later in the hotel room at the Grand Hyatt, mom was moved as the bride changed into her white wedding gown.
Before dinner began, all the guests held hands and were united in prayer. And after they cut their gorgeous cake, an epic cake fight ensued. The James Leary Flood Mansion sits atop Pacific Heights, overlooking the northern part of the City, and it was pretty incredible to step out onto the balcony with Tami and Alvin, out of the wedding cauldron and into the cool San Francisco evening. The photos below can describe these moments so much better than I can in text. A huge thank you to the couple for inviting me to document their wedding, as well as to Jessica at Dreams on a Dime for coordinating such a fabulous day!
