Vintage San Francisco City Hall Wedding
One of the appeals of a vintage San Francisco City Hall wedding is that the building itself sets the tone. Amid all the modern, boxy construction, and the shiny Teslas prowling San Francisco’s streets, City Hall is reminder of a bygone time. It’s a grand building, sure. But it’s also played host to some famous nuptials. Most famously, Marilyn Monroe and Joe DiMaggio’s wedding. So you can imagine how excited I was when Marina and Pablo told me about the vision for their day. Marina said she got this sweet vintage wedding dress and veil, and tiffany blue shoes. Visions started swirling in my head about what a gorgeous bride she’d be. I had no idea that her man, Pablo, would also try to steal the show.
Vintage San Francisco City Hall Wedding
I met Marina and Pablo for their vintage San Francisco City Hall wedding on a lovely autumn afternoon. We were working with the following set of ingredients: No sleep, no food, no parking. Add a scoop of ‘running behind schedule’, a dash of ‘forgot the rings in the car’, and we had the perfect vintage City Hall wedding recipe. That the day turned out fabulously is a testament to the love that flows between them. It’s the result of the incredible positive energy that flows from them. Marina, Pablo, you are both simply fabulous.
I still cannot believe that we were able to accomplish so much in such a short afternoon, because it flew by in a flash. I sincerely apologize for making you climb on windowsills, wade through traffic, dodge cable cars and levitate using conventional balloons. Your sense of style and your ability to run down long staircases in high heels are enviable qualities. You might consider teaching a workshop! Anyway, I’ll stop rambling now and let you and the world enjoy the results of my love for vintage San Francisco City Hall wedding photography and your love for one another.
