I have to admit that I was pretty excited when Diana and Eugene chose me to capture their Carnival Cruise wedding photos. I imagined a week of fun in the sun with close friends, pastel hues, gorgeous sunsets, wind and surf…and you know what? I was spot on. Moreover, I was fortunate to be amidst a vibrant and dapper group of family and amigos who were all eager to make the most of their photogenic sailing adventure.

There were many fun photoshoots throughout the week: some on land in Cabo San Lucas and Puerto Vallarta, others at sea on the windswept decks beneath dramatic sunsets. Through it all, it was clear that Diana and Eugene were ecstatic about having their closest people with them for a week of celebration. The reason they wanted Carnival Cruise wedding photos, is so they could share beautiful memories with family, friends, and with one another as husband and wife!

There’s something really great about being on a luxury liner on the ocean. You get to be pampered and comfortable, while at the same time enjoying the rhythms of nature all around you. I began the morning of the wedding day by stepping out on the balcony and taking it all in. The smell of the ocean. The wake of the ship. I grabbed my cameras and headed to Diana’s cabin, where she was getting ready. She had a gorgeous gown, and her bridesmaids had aqua blue dresses to match the scenery. The wedding itself took place in the ship’s chapel, and the ceremony was officiated by the captain. After the ceremony, we really got down to business of taking Carnival Cruise wedding photos. We enjoyed the windy decks, and captured the gorgeous sunset. One of my favorite Carnival Cruise wedding photos was when Eugene and Diana stood on the top deck, looking out at the ship’s wake and the pool deck below.
